Wroxall to Godshill
This route is best suited for mountain bikes as a lot of it is over fields and rocky paths. In wet weather or if you are using a road bike an alternative route would be to follow Redhill Lane.
The section from Wroxall to Feemantle is part of the Worsley Trail, a 13 mile walking trail from Shanklin to Mottistone. The path takes you close to Appuldurcombe House, an 18th century stately home that fell into ruin but which has now been partly restored. It is a fairly steep climb across a field to Freemantle Gate, then a descent on a narrow and muddy rocky path before meeting a quiet road.
The end of the section is where the route crosses the A3020. Godshill is just a couple of hundred metres along the road from here.
